  • The AI Made Simple workshop a few weeks ago reminded us that learning becomes powerful when it feels accessible, practical, and connected to real life.

This event created a space where people could slow down, ask questions, and understand how artificial intelligence can support the way they work, lead, and manage their time.

We want to thank Randi N. Gray for the incredible job breaking down AI in a way that was clear, welcoming, and easy to apply. She helped remove the fear and confusion around technology and replaced it with confidence, curiosity, and practical tools.

The room was engaged. People brought their laptops and tablets. They leaned into the conversation. They explored how AI can simplify daily tasks, improve productivity, and create more space for strategy, creativity, and purpose.

This was more than a workshop. It was a step toward working smarter, reclaiming time, and preparing our community for the future.

Thank you to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Long Island Chapter, Sister Nomic$, StrongHER Systems, and everyone who came ready to learn and grow.

AI is no longer something happening around us. It is a tool we can learn to use with intention.
  • Strong communities are built through opportunity.

Opportunity starts with access.
Per Scholas visited the Urban League of Long Island’s office as we begin building a new partnership focused on workforce development, career pathways, and economic empowerment.

This visit was more than a meeting. It was a meaningful step toward creating greater access to training, certifications, and resources that can help individuals compete in today’s workforce and build stronger futures.

The conversations were intentional. The vision was clear. The opportunity ahead is powerful.

When organizations align around purpose, the impact reaches further. Together, the Urban League of Long Island and Per Scholas are working to create pathways that help individuals move from potential to purpose.

This is just the beginning.

Stay connected as we continue building opportunities, strengthening communities, and changing lives.
